Africa Community Foundation offers research, training, and economic empowerment for local communities in East Africa, with the aim of eradicating poverty and establishing economic sustainability among the local people.
Situation
Wide spread poverty throughout East Africa still exist even though billions of dollars of aid has been sent over the last decades. The majority of this has been in relief efforts to meet immediate needs. We are grateful for all of this generosity but long range solutions are still lacking.
Vision
We desire to help eliminate poverty by assisting the local people to get their products to a domestic and international market.
