Mission

The mission of Africa Community Foundation (ACF) is to help local communities to acquire a baseline of farming in order to help alleviate poverty, as well as, to offer an opportunity to proceed onto prosperity by getting their products to markets, both local and abroad​

Objectives

  • Sufficient water source for both human consumption and crop irrigation
  • Appropriate fencing to keep out livestock
  • Training in organic farming techniques
  • Assistance in planting crops that are both conducive to the local climate and are also in high demand in markets around the world
  • Creating a flow of commerce of these products through marketing
  • Assisting with transportation in getting these products to the appropriate markets
  • Assistance in establishing local cooperatives among the farmers so that they can eventually become self supporting​

Vision

ACF’s vision is to help alleviate poverty among African communities through commerce. With farming being established as the necessary baseline, the communities can then move on with the development of other resources, from poverty to hopefully one day prosperity.
We are a non-for-profit organization whose board has had over 50 years of combined experience in working in impoverished nations. Our mission, as a board of directors, is to help provide an avenue for people in developed countries to be able to give directly to the poor. All funds given to specific projects will go directly to that project. All of our administrative needs are provided for by other donors so that 100% of donations given to the poor will go directly to the poor.
